These are so very sweet! I was making polymer clay items (mostly jewellery) 6 months ago but I've lost my confidence in my abilities (for no reason at all). Maybe I should try something like this to get me back into it? Thinking I can't get a fantasy item *wrong*

I think you should certainly mash up some clay and start creating!!! Remember have fun with it and just create items you want to see the joy in creating is the accomplishment that you made it with your own hands..don't worry what anyone else thinks hon!

I've done these fairy gardens and really loved doing them...
Maybe I should stick with these (that I enjoy so much) instead of bouncing around like a crazy woman trying to do *everything* I probably should have put something for size reference in the pictures like a matchstick or pencil. No point doing coins because only Australians would know what size those are! The one with mushrooms is about 2 matchsticks wide and the other is in a 2 litre frozen yogurt tub. 2 litres is a little over 3 pints.

Oh Jane! From an artist like you that means a lot! The pink flowers are tiny, tiny scraps of kitchen sponge tediously chopped up with scissors. Actually, the green 'leaves' are too.
