Sorry, but this is a wyvern, NOT a dragon. Its wings are its arms, which make it a wyvern. Dragons' wings come from extended ribs and attached to the spine. Cool image anyway.

Depending on who you ask: All wyverns are dragons, but not all dragons are wyverns. As far as I'm concerned wyverns are merely a subspecies of the dragon kind, just like sea-serpents/dragons. But of course there's no written rule that defines wyverns as being dragons or not.

I have been a crytozoologist for more than a decade now, and I have clearly learned that wyverns and dragons are totally different creatures.
[1] Wyverns are cold-blooded. Dragons are warm-blooded.
[2] A wyvern's wings are its arms and hands, just like bats and birds. A dragon's wings are actually highly-evolved extended rib bones attached to the creature's spine.
[3] Wyverns ALWAYS have 2 legs and walk with a bird-like gait. Depending on their individual forms of evolution, dragon may have any number of legs and sometimes no legs at all.
[4] Most wyverns have specially-developed glands and barbs at the tip of their tails which (depending on their species) are used to either poison, paralyze or put their prey to sleep, among others. It is extremely rare for dragons to have any type of glands in their tails.
[5] Unlike the always savage and untrainable wyvern, dragons are highly intelligent and wise. Some dragons are intelligent and wise enough to build their own civilizations.
[6] Dragons also have one thing which wyverns never have : "personality".
To say that a wyvern is the same as a dragon is like saying that an eagle is the same as a crocodile.
