I had a ton of fun doing this and I think it came out pretty well. The contest was essentially to draw yourself as a magical girl! And you guys know how obsessed I am with magical girls. This was very much inspired by Madoka Magica as I rewatched Rebellion the other day.. so many feels. ;v;
I know a lot of people dislike the ending and it's not my favourite but I ultimately feel like it's so in character for Homura I should have almost expected it. Honestly the art style of everything is so beautiful. The patterns and subject matter in the labyrinth are a huge inspiration for this piece.
The little familiar on her shoulder is very much inspired by Kyubey as well as other magical girl mascots. I chose a fennec fox to base him off of. What should his name be? lol

I don’t know~ I can’t really decide. I kinda decided since I play archer in every game it might be similar to my aura kingdom move set. (Since that’s the game that Mira came from as she was my main character)
