Horsetooth Reservoir, Fort Collins, ColoroadoThis is one of my attempts at HDR. Any critiques or advice would be appreciated.

This is truly a stunning shot. Magnificent. Good angle. Love how you captures the beauty of the water, and the natural lighting just complements the photograph as a whole. You really picked the right time of day to take it. And that light dusting of snow is beautiful. Marvelous time of year to take pictures in Colorado. The clouds toward the top of the photo are sort of distracting because they don't 'match' very well with the picture, nor are they particularly contrasting. But that it ok, we can't control mother nature after all XD
All of this being said, I wish you had tipped us off in the description as to what it was you were trying to capture or convey. It's hard to critique an ametur photographer (or even a professional photographer) without knowing something of what their vision or reason was. Keep that in mind next time you submit ^^
All in all though this piece was great. Excellent job. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for taking the time to write this. I really appreciate it. I think I just got lucky with the lighting because I took the photo around noon, which is generally the worst time of the day to take photos. I was just trying to convey the beauty of the area. Next time I will be sure to put what I was going after in my comments.
