Very nice, although I would also open up the shadows on the face to effectively soften the lighting which is too harsh.

but i left it as it is, because the composition of the picture is pretty harsh. there are straight lines and that is why i did not soften up any parts. it could be done, of course

yeah, i could do that, but it looks funny that way
i wanted to keep the veranda, to show the retouched stuff through the boards.
but you are right, for the composition it would be better to have a clean wall
