Happy Birthday ~FateDarkstar !!!!!!!

this picture was a pain in the butt. i decided to try something new for the shading. gah @.@ since i don't know how to use a gradient style for shading (i've used tutorials, but they dont help me much. i couldnt be doing things wrong. if anyone has a link to a tutorial, that'd be great. i have already used *Akita 's and that didnt help me out, so ya ) since i dont know how to shade like that. i used the gradient tool button thing..... call me crazy yes it took me all the time i was on the computer to finish it. the bangs are the only parts that i didnt use the gradient tool thinger. i love how the blue strand turned out, i dont know why. If i were to chose something in this picture that i would redo, it would be the black bangs. the hightlighting seems like crap to me yuckerz. The background was a quickie one. i had no ideas... I thought it wouldnt be appropraite (sp?) so have an actual sence-age background because it be like: "OMGTHERE'SAFLOATINGHEADINAMEADOW!!!!ITISTHESIGNOFTHEAPOCOLIPSE!!!!!!RUNFORYOURLIVES!!!" ya... no..... Sorry about there not being a tooth sticking out, i tried it, and it looked horrible, it might of been the position of where i put it (since i didnt draw a mouth line and tooth when i sketched it). eh whatever. I ope you like it sister!
