She looks like a normal teenager right? That just goes to show that you don't know who feels like this all the time. Yes I used a base, but that's only because it grabbed my attention when I was looking up ideas for a picture.But the only reason I made this picture is because in school today the popular kids were talking about people who got SAPed. now in my school SAP is the Student Assistance Program. I was in it and it helped me alot. Now to the popular kids, the people who are in SAP are freaks who don't have anything else to live for, and it made me mad when I was sitting there listening, but I didn't want to start anything in class, considering the whole class was involved, EVEN THE TEACHER!!! so I was really out numbered...
But the real point is, Depression is nothing to laugh about, it's dangerous, I don't care what anybody says, teenagers can get depression, it's not contagious...but it seriously is dangerous, it makes you think that you're nothing to the world and to some people, it gets's so bad that you could harm yourself by cutting, or worse, suicide. It's hard to think clearly and even the smallest comment could set you off. It's no laughing matter...

Living a life of people hating you and picking on you.
Or living a life where your parents are afraid of that so they take you away from the world and you have no friends and don't even know your family.... Not 1 friend... not even used to being with someone your own age. And everytime you are around someone they hate you because your different and was raised to be a loner and serperate from everyone! (Me)

I personally am a High School student and suffer from severe depression. I saw your pic, because I did my own version of the base myself and I like to look at other peoples versions too. I read your artist comment and actually cried. By the way, the drawing is really amazing. You gave it incredible detail. :3

thank you. I tend to make better artwork when I'm not distracted by anything, and that day I was alone and also in a small state of rage, I guess that's how I let my feelings out was from a picture. I'm glad you like it though.

I am in complete agreement with this. The other day in class I heard these people talking about a kid in my class. The kid has autism and he just wants to have good friends, so he was waiting for one of his friends who was popular but nice to him, and this guy is just like "Who is he waiting for?" And his friend says "I think he's looking for Reed." So he goes "Why?" and the other guy is just like "He probably thinks he's hot" I was sitting there thinking to my self, that was completley uncalled for. The poor guy just wants friends and you are going to make fun of him because he is different?!?!?! What is wrong with people?!?!?!
