The lovely HedaSophie commissioned me to "glow up" an older design into a new QuillDog deity! This deity is rated super rare. Thanks so much for commissioning me, Heda! I had so much fun with this one!

Long ago, a sacred, magical sakura tree was planted from the last remaining seed in existence, which was created out of the dying power of an ancient, mysterious goddess. The goddess wanted her land to be forever protected by the safety of the tree. The tree grew big and strong and has remained standing for many moons-- some say, eternally!

They say that this QuillDog deity was born during a thunderstorm-- at the moment when a lightning strike struck this ancient, magical, beautiful blossoming sakura tree. Because of this intense moment and the overwhelming magic of the tree, this deity was forever tied to the tree-- and, to the old goddess too! Part of the lightning was cast onto the deity at birth, which helped save this magical tree, and also imparted some of the tree's magic onto her. She clenses the land from unclean spirits and protects sacred spaces-- especially close to the sakura tree. She's seen as a good omen, and locals praise her and collect sakura leaves with gratitude because of her! She also has a great love for thunderstorms, for some odd reason...
