Hey Deviantart pals! Here's a new work on Midjourney, this time different from what I've been working on - it's a shattered mirror lying on the floor, with a depressed person inside the fragmented pieces. There's raw emotion and despair of the individual as they study their distorted reflection.
I was able to really nail the texture and lighting on the broken mirror shards, showing the person's face through the mirror. I got contrasting shadows and highlights to emphasize the turmoil and internal struggle, both on the individual's face and within the surrounding environment. The somber mood is heightened by a muted color palette, allowing the shattered mirror and the person's expression to take center stage in this poignant and powerful piece.
