Description Moonstruck
Chapter four
The car trip back from the leisure center was actually really fun, which put Noah at ease. He was so worried that it was going to be awkward, but with all his favourite songs on the radio the younger boy couldn't help but sing along, which led to Aster laughing at him, then pointing out that he didn't really know the lyrics.
Aw well.

When they finally reached Aster's place, Noah got a shock: the little house looked like it was pulled right out of a fairy tale, with flowers growing all around and vines. It seemed like it had its own kind of magic.
"T-This is cool."
"Thanks I guess?" Aster mumbled, unlocking the door then leading Noah inside, showing him the lounge room that led to the kitchen, and from then the bedroom. The house was kind of built like a circle, so when Noah and Aster reached his bedroom Noah could see the front door again.

"It’s really small," Noah said absentmindedly, looking around at all the indoor flowers and the few glitter jars, his bright green eyes practically glowing.
"…I guess so?"
"So what should we do?"
Noah turned to the older boy and clapped his hands together, waiting for a response.
But Aster was nothing like Hiccup in any way, which was a good thing in some ways, yet so hard in others.
"Talk?"
"…Do you like dragons?"
"You're still into dragons?"
"Y-Y-Yeah."
Aster's cold gaze softened into a small smile, tilting his head as he reached out his hand and traced his fingertips over the other boy's dark freckles.
The older boy could feel every breath, the nerves, even Noah's heartbeat as he touched him.
"Any spring ones?"
"D-Dragons? Of course, there's a dragon for anything, water, a-air, fire, snow, summer, winter, Japan, China, night time, d-day time—"
"Like Pokémon?"
Noah burst out laughing as he heard Aster referring mighty to dragons as pitiful Pokémon, before he stopped and blinked a few times.
"A-Actually yeah."
"And Pokémon is like Attack on Titan."
"You know Attack on Titan? And how is Pokémon like Shingeki no Kyojin?"
"I use the internet? It’s the exact same show; one main boy, wants to 'get them all,' and has a close female friend."
"There are plenty of shows that are like that-"
"Then plenty of shows are like Shingeki no Kyojin."
The black haired boy laughed at how Aster's accent twisted the Japanese words, and maybe he was laughing a little bit out of fondness too.
Aster's hand slowly slipped down the other boy's figure before he grabbed onto Noah's wrist, leading him into his bedroom. The younger boy's nerves were on edge— he was going into Aster's bedroom, bedroom. His bedroom. For a few seconds there Noah couldn't even think, mostly because he didn't want to.

The two then sat down on Aster's bed and spent the rest of the afternoon talking about anything that crossed their mind, which of course led them both to the topic of dating.
Noah was turning into a hopeless mess of giggles and nerves, when their knees bumped together he just couldn't stop smiling so he took a mighty breath as he mumbled,
"...Do you have someone?"
"Mn? Nah...you?"

The younger boy shook his head in response before moving his hands and gliding them up Aster's shirt. Their eyes locked the whole time, then Noah pressed his hands to the back of the older boy's neck. They stared at each other with sparkling eyes, and Noah felt a little light-headed even but he didn't want to let go just yet. Deep in his chest he could feel something tugging mercilessly at his heart strings, making him feel things he never felt before.
But before Noah could dwell on these new emotions something in his pocket vibrated through his entire body, letting him know his phone was being called.
So the two boys glumly pulled back from each other as the younger one answered the call.
"Toothless?"
"Hiccup?"
"...Where are you? It's nine thirty?"
