By far one of my favorite drawings I've done so far. My teacher wanted to send it into a contest last year, but from past drawings I had sent in coming back ripped, I couldn't let her send it in.It's done with ink, and yes, it's pointillism. It took a couple months on and off to complete it. And plenty of sore wrists lol. I'm really happy with the way it turned out, especially since I started it thinking it wouldn't be something I would put a lot of effort into.
Also, the title Endangered Beauty is pretty self explanatory. Tigers are beautiful animals, and it's really a shame that they're dying off so rapidly.

I found you on UnseenArtists. This is amazing. Far better than my pointillisim piece I have, but of course, it took you far longer. I am faving this!
Maybe it is a function of the photo/scan, but it feels like you should have a middle highlight in the eye (not just a peak and a dark)
This is a wonderful drawing, and I am sure you are proud of it - as you should be!

hehehe, same with me. I did a portrait of someone and they have very dark brown eyes, and it didn't show in the picture, but I should have put it in anyway, because he just looks dead now. Your art is not dead looking though, that is just what happened to mine *because it was so dark in heavy contrast to the rest of the picture*.

Beautiful. The eyes are enchanting, and the general effect is gorgeous. I'm not sur if I've done any real pointillism before, but I've done something similar. Boy do I sympathise with the sore wrists.

This is awsome. I remember I once had to do a pontillism work for collage and took me forever, an this one is so much better ^_________^
Also, beyond the technique, I lurv the puppy eyes of the tiger and tho whole drawing itself...
