A thin weary breeze ruffled Aspenwind's soft white pelt as the grown warrior rested deep in RiverClan territory, avoiding his duties. He had already gone hunting today against his will, so the lazy tom decided to take a break. Sure, other warriors would work hard to make sure every other cat was fed by going hunting multiple times in the day, so why should he do the same? "We wouldn't want prey going to waste, or the Clan getting fat and lazy now would we?" He murmured sleepily to himself as her rolled onto his belly. In the distance he heard a flock of birds take flight, the beating of their wings echoing in the soft murmur of the quieting forest. His curious eyes fluttered open in time to see a single feather floating down before him. Normally he'd just ignoring and continue his relaxation, but this feather seemed different. Beautiful, in fact, compared to the dull brown robin feathers he had lined in his little make-shift nest...
