I love the coloration on this... The reds are so vibrant, as are the oranges.
My only criticism would be the blur towards the top of the piece; the middle is so crisp and inviting, it hurts the composition (I think) to have that blur.
I think the black spots are vital to the piece, as they provide contrast. It contains its own little symbolism - needing the darkness to appreciate the light. This work shows the juxtaposition of the two elements quite nicely.

you're right the blur does ruin it , i think i was mainly concentrating on the bottom part of the leaf anyway so maybe i did desert the top part slightly :/
