I love this movie so much! I've seen it twice and I'd gladly see it again. It's so sweet, and the animation is just... *drools*Gru's character design is what initially got me interested because I didn't think the movie looked that great - in my opinion the previews don't do it justice - but I've fallen in love~!
So in case you don't know, there's Gru. The girls are Agnes (little one on top), Edith (with the hat), and Margo (with the glasses).
I had a lot of fun - as I have been lately, yay~ - drawing and coloring this, so maybe I'll do more Despicable Me artwork... we'll see~!
Despicable Me and characters belong to Illumination Entertainment
Colored traditionally using copic markers and a couple of Touch, which is a Korean marker brand I recently discovered.

My upcoming story "When a sibling is very ill" will show how much Gru cares for his girls and how much the sisters care about each other. I'm sure by the title you'll work out what it's about.

Yeah, I love how you drew this! Margo standing on one leg while she hugs Gru then Gru with his fingers in her hair, Agnes riding on Gru's shoulders while she holds his head and Edith playfully hanging on Gru's arm! With the expression of love on Gru's face all this make the drawing something special!
I really love Gru and his girls and they are some of best characters ever created!

You are not going to believe this but I saw DM 21 (not a typo) times since Jul. 9 when it was released.
I saw it with friends, my daughter, my ex-wife and by myself! As you can tell I adore this movie and I just love Gru and his three adorable little girls. Especially Edith!
Now I can't wait for the DVD to be released! My DVD player will probably explode because I'm going to watch DM s many times!

xD If I'd had the money and time I would've seen it that many times, too, that's how much I love it. And it never gets old!
I'm anxiously waiting for the DVD, too. For the DVD's for all of this year's animated movies, actually. I'm an animation student so I take an interest in that, but this has been a very good year for animation.

Yeah, luckily I had the money and the time. Like I said previously, I just can't get enough of Gru and those three adorable little girls! Especially Edith for so many reasons! I love this movie soooo much!
My friends and family think I'm not only obsessed but nuts too! I don't care. There are worse things I could be doing, right?

I wasn't aware there was a meme, and I don't usually do them, but in this case I think I will! But seeing as I'm mostly a traditional artist I'll probably draw a bunch of stuff and then scan it in... Or try to draw something with my tablet that I don't totally hate. ^^"

Thanks! I think I'm really adaptive to other styles, but this one is a LOT of fun to draw. If you haven't seen the movie yet we should go see it! I want to see it again!!
