Description here is my final project for my Illustration class

for this project we had to pick a cultural event (a show, festival, opera, play, etc.) and, of course, create an 11 x 17 illustration for it

I decided to go with the tulip festival and tried to create a sort of magical garden feel to it with a collage of nifty tissue paper =3

it looks like you made it outa paper mache or something. It's got beautiful colors-love it

it's actually made out of funky textured tissue paper and Mod Podge!
though using Mod Podge wasn't the best of ideas... it's still sort of sticky and weird feeling even though it was created almost a year ago. but hey, lesson learned^^

wow! this is very pretty and i love the way the colours blend over each other!

it was really fun to work with that tissue paper, it was just the right thickness so I was able to layer things together so you could still see what was in the back^^ it was also harder to tear, which just makes it that much easier to manipulate X3
