Finally Finished!!! It may not look look like much but this took an absolute age! I kinda' like the effect but I don't think I'll be revisiting it anytime soon. Looks best zoomed right out.Related content

Thanks! Yeah, I used a photograph of an extremely old and wrinkled hand. I don't know much about this pointilism stuff but an art project included going outside your comfortzone and voila!

I went on a pointilism Β kick when I was younger, I think it was a trendΒ
at the time. It was hanging in all the office buildings and hospitals for a while.
So I gave it a try. It's kind of mesmerizing. Did you put yourself in a trance working on it?

I suppose I did in a way. I kind of stopped focusing on individual details, just trying to reproduce the whole picture. I was basically on autopilot. I didn't realise how sore my hands were getting until it was too late!
