Hello there. I'm actually doing a project for my Photography class. As I've been stalking your page for a while now, can I interview you (through e-mail/chat) about your particular style and your reasons why? I love the various emotions that you show and the angles. I have to write a small 2 page essay about a photographer of my choosing and the photographer must be alive. In saying so, please PM me or e-mail me. Thank you very much.

Aww. =[
Nakaka-awa. I remember when we watched a documentary in poverty. Very tear-jerking.
The photo's so full of emotion. Galing ^.^

As sad as it is, it's sometimes very easy to forget that there are people who are living with troubles that measure far beyond our own. Photographers and artists who capture their world and show it to ours duely remind us that 'we are not alone' and there are larger problems in life other than 'how am I going to pay for a new speaker system?' or 'I've got nothing but last season's clothes to wear'.
Fantastic capture of raw emotion with genuine subjects. The perspective you've used is awesome, along with the use of shadows and light. Faving.

How did you get all of them sharp? When I take a picture of a person, everything behind him/her gets blurry...
I wish I could give the girls some food.. It's a shame that I'm all "filled up", when small kids do starve in other countries..

The range of emotion in the expressions on all three faces trailing back into the picture makes it so much more stunning.

Black and white was an excellent choice for this photo. It gives depth and dimension to the three girls, it strengthens their voices. I really like the composition; the way the girls form a curve is intruiging to me. I also like how the two in the back have the same expression but the one in front - her face is dramatic and is focused on the viewer. This photo captures emotion - sadness, fear, curiosity - but above all, what is real.
Well shot.
