Love Lara... love oldschool Lara even more, though! Called Spitfire simply because that was the song used in one of the Tomb Raider advertising campaigns (and I thought it worked well - she is a spitfire, bless her!)I used [link] as a basic pose reference - sketched last night during CSI (oh, how I love CSI...) and since hubby was in hospital today having his parasitic twin removed (I jest! I jest! He had a lump on his ankle removed - nothing serious) - I used the waiting time to ink this.
Haven't done any real inked cartoonish work in a while... it was fun! Even if it did make me go crosseyed (as working in pen always does, for some reason). I did pencil in a background, but, ummm, ran out of space on the paper (this is only A4) - might spend some time redesigning it and reposting; I dunno if I have the time, though. We'll see!
Still have no idea how to draw guns, though...
Lara Croft and Tomb Raider belong to Eidos, Core Design and Crystal Dynamics.

Absolutely astounding stuff, just perfect - you really captured the character, with the right blend of sassy and sexy. And you CAN draw guns! (Although I do sympathise - the one time I drew her, I spent far longer on the gun than on her or the bloody predator).
