Wanted to practice illustrating without pencils or ink lines. It was pretty liberating but as you can see, I didn't get very far.I focused mostly on his face and posture.

Yeah, painting without the linework is hard! But Definately doable.
I think this was coming out excellent! Maybe you should continue with it?

I haven't illustrated in such a long time that i've been experimenting with so many things. This coloring style I like. I'll definitely try to make more!

Hi! Yeah I haven't been spending as much time at DeviantArt for months now (or Youtube either much for that matter). Busy, & alot of computer problems up until recently didn't exactly make it very encouraging to be here much. 
So I'm taking a minute to catch up with everybody's stuff & answer comments that I neglected here for too long & so forth. 
Yeah this is definately a nice coloring style! You've really improved ALOT with using the tablet!! O_O

what you focused on works great, the sort of slouch / sunk deep into the chair and thought are expressive. (I also like the simplicity of the the color for the wine glass)

Thanks a lot. I tried to avoid going overboard with illustrating it too detailed. I didn't want to lose the flow of the initial strokes.
