Nice. Annika commits suicide in the 8th grade.Before Tamaki opens the Twins' hearts up,she writes Kaoru a love letter,and the two demand she tell which is truly Kaoru,and she tries but fails,and they rip the letter to shreds,mocking her, and her heart shatters. I'll have to copy+paste to get more of her,but the gist is simple,no?

Wait,it's better than just that depressing...
Long ago,she had both her parents,blisfully and happily in love. Things happen,and her father dies around the time she was 7 in a drunk head on collision trying to save her life. Her mother falls into a spiraling depression where she spends any money she has on any drug to ease the pain of her loss,eventually,losing her house,where she sends her daughter to her mother in law's,trying to get into rehab for the best of them. By then,she's about 12,and not too far in,her grandmother,who hate Annika and her mother for taking her "Little Lovely Liam" away from her,and almost immediately disowns her. She already knows she has severe depression by then, with only Miki for close comfort. Miki gives her the money to attend Ouran from the 8th- college year and rent a place. Instantly,she falls for Kaoru, and a chain of events reacts there with Miki in view,and she shoots herself in the heart,to truly let them know it shattered. Needless to say,the being her best friend,Miki is enraged beyond all that is holy and wants to beat the living out of them both.... :v
