You're kinda right, but I'm getting a feeling that Lapis isn't interested in anyone after what happened with Jasper. I was really rooting for Lapidot, but coming to think of it, most of their interactions seemed... One-sided..? Peridot tried to be nice to Lapis and she didn't accept any of it other than being just friends. Then there's Bismuth catching the bouquet of flowers which kinda implies she's next to marry apparently.
Of course, I'm not saying that Bisdot will be THEE ship nor am a saying Lapidot will nor Amedot. It's more of my reasoning why I prefer this ship now.
