My sister sang the a song from Melody Club, "Destiny Calling" and I wanted to draw a picture with that theme.. You'll have to think of who's calling for yourselfs xDI'm thinking about One Missed Call ... >..<
This also a fanart of me buddie Rikku xD She's got such cool style and is supercute and talented so check her out oki ^__^

Yeah it does look like the scanner took some of the light colors... >.<

Since you ask for a critique I'll give it a whack ^_^
The phone looks ok, but it should probably be more detailed since it is so close up and after all the focus of the picture...
I like her big apple eyes... but they should probably have more detail as well... or maybe just pupils... but that's all up to style I suppose.
For the most part the handrails are straight, but there are several instances where is seem to get a little sloppy. I'm sure you use a ruler, but it doesn't seem like it's used everywhere on the handrails...
What's that brown patch by her hand?

the rail... I did use a ruler, although, when I coloured it, the colors bled >..< (and it was one of the last things I did so I might have been a liiittle sloppy yes xD )
yeah, I'm no totally happy with the eyes.. thankies .. I think I'll do some touchup on them

I did consider the posiblity of the ink bleeding out of the line or a mistake by accident, but it just didn't seem to make sense considering the rest of the peice...
I hope you can get her eyes the way you want them ^^
Is the brown wood... a pier? [link] You're English is quite good, I didn't realize that it wasn't your primary language, I wish I was that good at Japanese... I think it just looks wierd because it's so much darker than steps...
Everything we do is like practice for the next time, if we evaluate how to do it better... ^_^

Hmm... what type of paper did you do this on? Well, I heard that certain papers reduce bleed... Hopefully I'll figure out with Deviant I heard this from so I could figure out what kind of paper it was...

i drew this on Manga paper.. I don't think it reduces bleed.. but I have that kind of paper as well

The less absorbant the paper is, the less it will bleed... Of course, if it's too low it would take longer for the ink to dry... or something wierd like that...
I guess one just has to play around with different types of paper till they find one they like ^^
