Haven't had a time to manip and draw for a long time, with Nanowrimo and other stuff. Besides, I really had to fight with poor dying laptop - touchpad has been going crazy, and keeps moving the cursor off. Now try and use tablet (or a mouse, for that matter) like that...This is a picture that I promised for my sister for her birthday. She's very keen on the awesome guy you can see on the picture - our mutual good friend, and so she requested I'd make a picture about him.
Worked on it for over 2 weeks or so, and finally completely redid the entire background and idea, with the guardian angel constantly telling me: no, I don't want THAT backdrop, no, I don't want wings, why don't you draw me a wing-like cape instead etc etc.
So, this is my birthday present for ~QueenLily , my dearest lil sis. She's a very special person and the kindest most caring soul I've ever met. I think she's trying to hug the entire world. I just wish the world would return the favour more often.
