Heh. This is somewhat a collaboration between me and ~Gilfinder i.e Aurin, since I made this picture while he was beside me, learning tips from me and telling me constantly to do this or that. And I must say he really was of help.He is also model of this picture, so...

Hehe. Glad you like. But still, this is a doodling, to teach Aurin a couple of tricks. But people tend to take a liking to it, though not much work or thought was put into it. So I don't know...I feel kinda weird.

Yes, considering the small amount of time we put into this, it came out quite nice, didn't it.
But no I am still not using PS. Paint Shop Pro might not be as well equipped with light effects and brushes, but is a lot easier to use, considering that I've done some work with it before and close to none with PS. But I do intend to convert at some point.

I really like this piece. The textures and colors make it look like a very old painting. When I lived in Spain when I was younger I got to see all kinds of beautiful old art all over Europe. This one reminds me of some pieces we saw in Italy when we were touring the churches there. You did a beautiful job capturing the look and feel of a real painting.
Now I am jealous... I would love to pull up a chair and have a tutor session with you

See teema tuli tegelikult kunagi drägoni foorumist, kus keegi /algaja/ fotograaf seletas, et ei, temal ei ole küll käte värisemisega probleeme, mille peale siis keegi - vist Ott - mainis, et nojah, kui sa meritäht oled, siis ilmselt mitte. Teadupärast on meritähtedel ja veel mõningatel olenditel lihaste lukustussüsteem.

Very "medieval" religious genre I'm thinking, the era when religious art esp in Europe was very dark, sombre, and "guilty.

Enlarged and printed on a canvas, it would pass as traditional by most, I reckon.
