Happy Easter, everyone!

Wanted to do something a little different and a little fun in honor of this rabbit holiday where we feast on meat and something or other about eggs...
Originally these designs were intended to go as a pair - and took an entirely different turn as I worked through it.

A monster of unknown origins that showed up in the village of Palm. No one knows it's intentions, as it does not seem to have any interest in attacking anyone, despite it's appearance of that of a beast. It seems to be protecting something... but it tends to make odd noises in the night, deep in the forest, that frighten the people of Palm. The villagers pool their gold together and hire a mercenary to track the beast down to slay it; unknown to them that perhaps this weird sound it is making when the moon is hung deep in the sky is a mating call.

Known for his prowess in combat, quick whit, and the agility of a rabbit, The Hunter is a mercenary that had been hired to slay the Guardian of the East. He has reserves about attacking a beast that has had no intention of causing harm to any of the village of Palm's inhabitants, so he grows weary, and leaves himself to watch the beast instead, trying to understand it, but always keeping his trusty Hare Splitter at the ready in case it does turn to attack.
