i used to watch Lodoss and read the manga all the time in high school!

What is Record of Lodoss War and how old is it? I remember the name "Deedlit" being used by Yukiji Katsura in Hayate the Combat Butler, a long time ago, and I thought it was a made-up name.
...How is it that I remember something only used in a single panel of a manga chapter I first read, like, seven year ago, and have not re-read in at least two years?

It's a very good classic fantasy with gorgeous art style and classic story ^_^
