In this world, mythological creatures such as dragons, griffin, hippogriffs, sirens, etc. are almost extinct.

Twilight and Shinig Armor are of the last of the long dynasty of sphinxes, its believed that these creatures are descendants of the gods and born to protect temples and royal cemeteries. She is the heir to the throne because she was born with the mark of the magic star and her varied and strong magic, her brother can also use magic but it is only for shields and other defense spells. He would have been the perfect successor, hes the firstborn and for his protective magic that is ideal being a sphinx, so many oppose the reign of Twilight (and being female and the second daughter) but the mark on the forehead is the one that decides.

It is very common for some creatures to be given as entertainment, pets, companions to rich families or royalty. Although many times they themselves give as workers because many times these creatures live in poverty and hunger, of course with contract and salary. Flash has hippogriff decency, almost no notice except for his fangs and hooves/front claws bird mix. Which makes him exceptionally rare and precious, because if the mythological creatures are almost extinct it is almost impossible to find hybrids.

-This Twilight unlike the original of the show, is a lover of fun and jokes, which often includes spoiling a recipe in the kitchen of the palace or messing up the heads of the gods in the temple. As her brother discovers she is a eternal kitten, destroying the cloth with her claws, sleeping in the sun or in rare places, chasing insects or playing with yarn. Although her manners are impeccable and she is a good queen (empress in theory) she can become very impulsive and has gotten into a lot of trouble before because of it an maybe she can become very manipulative and cunning when she wants and be a little childish... and bossy... just a little.

She does not have very good social skills and is quite unconscious with some thing or the fellings of other, not because of malice but because of ignorance, Twilight spent all her life in the palace, almost never comes out, always full of luxury and extravagance, she does not know what hunger is, work under the sun or even dress alone. That why very often she cant interact with creatures of her age and in theory her only friend who is not family is Spike.

-Flash is a down-to-earth, good-hearted and hard-working young thing. Since childhood because of the environment in which he lived he had to learn to be independent, learning to cook, wash, sew, and everything else that a homeowner should know. In spite of his cool appearance, he tends to be too obsessive with everything related with work, and sometimes he tends to be too concerned with even the smallest detail and not worry about himself, but that does not stop him from being a dreamer. Many times his parents begged him to go with his friends or take a break but he always said he was fine as he was, of course, due to wanting to make things better for his family he lost many things in his childhood, sometimes he would not be so over thinking.

He was born and grew in a humble town of shepherds, who were not only famous for their wool and flowers but for their music (and please dont waste food in front of him and dont you dare to not use the words "please" and "thank you" if you dont want to receive a two-hour sermon, maybe he come from a poor family but the boy has manners and principles)

When Flash turned 18, he decided to travel, to be able to give a better life to his family because to the scarce resources were going through difficult moments. He joined a caravan, as a dancer and singer being one of the most popular attractions for his exotic beauty and although he received many juicy offers the owner always said no because with Flash they had the agreement that when they arrived at "The Sphinxes" domains they would perform in the palace in front of the richest nobles and Flash would sign contracts with the most wealthy of them to give his family lifetime benefits no matter what he has to do, Flash had accepted all the possibilities even that they hire him for "other kind of services", but the owner promised to find him a master/mistress with money but decent (I mean not a rich pervert).
