Florida's look is gradually changing, and for now I manage to settle on wavy hair with a darker complexion c:Now a lot of you history buffs are probably thinking "YES! FINALLY!!!"
But I had my reasons for doing what I did before. It wasn't so much that I was ignorant so much as I was just drawing from my own experiences. Spaniards have abnormally Light Skin (at least the ones I'm descended from certainly did. Its not even a white-bread-white, but more of a Casper the friendly Ghost white that does not tan very well) and seeing as how Florida was Colonized by Spain...
HOWEVER There were just too many other historical facts and character traits that massively tipped the scale in favor of darker skin. (The Florida Natives, Hispanic immigrants, the tanned stereotype, her outdoor lifestyle, and other things that I can't seem to recall right now)
...Plus hetalia's Spain is more Olive-skinned than anything. She's definitely mixed all multicultural-like!

Oh my goodness, she's so pretty~ And lawl I know about the white Spaniards. In fact, when I went there, I was kind of shocked that almost everyone I saw was considerably whiter than I'd expected. Not that that's bad or anything, it was just something I never knew about the culture. Of course going south I saw darker complexions. Either way, they're all very beautiful people :3

Haha its funny because the only person I've known to be like that is just myself, and this one girl I met in 8th grade. I heard from my mom that my dad was the same way, but I never met the guy >_>' Still it means that they exist!
