Description Along with Star Wars, another love of mine is the game (well, books too, but mostly games, plus I haven't read the books *yet*) franchise Mass Effect. Legion was awesome and this quote is epic, so I decided to make a banner out of it.

Constructive criticism is always appreciated!

I liked Legion more then anyone else on the team. This "robot" had more personality then any of the other members in my opinion.

Thane and Samara are also fantastic characters... Teal'C khmmm pardon Thane's story is mostly in Mass Effect 3, but Samara... SPOILER FROM NOW damn I was just sitting here watching the stuffs and listening to their speaking, then in a moment I was like "OH GOD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" flying to my mouse with the speed of light to stop her from shooting herself in the head - this was the only way to spare her (last from three) doughter's life, since the code she follows made her duty to kill her. Damn I just clicked in the last second, and I know I'd feel devastated if I let her die by her own hands. That moment she somehow... became "much more" in my eyes.

Shepard does ask him, and even made loyal, he says the answer isn't known to him why he did it. (Heh, kinda like another Bioware character.)

Argh, I hate how vague things are sometimes! I wonder if that'll be mentioned again in ME 3, though. If Legion survived in ME 2 that is (for me he did) - the wait to Me 3 is going to be so painful.

TheArtributor In reply to MizzeeOH [2010-04-02 06:09:36 +0000 UTC]

It kinda makes Liara suspicious in that whole deal, too. But I haven't been able to finish reading the comic book series yet, so I don't know how that goes down, if we find out there at all.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MizzeeOH In reply to TheArtributor [2010-04-02 15:53:32 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that definitely seemed weird but I know the comic does deal with her and the Shadow Broker a bit, so I guess that would clear it up more. But I haven't been able to read all of that either.

Maybe they made it that mysterious just so we would want to read the comic more. Argh.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheArtributor In reply to MizzeeOH [2010-04-02 18:51:08 +0000 UTC]

Nah, I mean, Liara is so shifty a character, she would never have just told Shepard about anything, not even accidentally.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MizzeeOH In reply to TheArtributor [2010-04-02 23:54:16 +0000 UTC]

True, yeah. She definitely had more of an edge in ME 2 than the first one; alot of her "naivety" (so to speak) was gone. That was evident when you walked in on her quoting her mother. 0_O

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheArtributor In reply to MizzeeOH [2010-04-03 17:15:58 +0000 UTC]

Which kind of makes you take pause in how bad she can get in the future. It would be funny if she became more badass than Samara in ME3.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MizzeeOH In reply to TheArtributor [2010-04-04 00:09:43 +0000 UTC]

That would be cool. Though I see her turning badass in a different way than Samara; more of an intelligent, sneaky "Get what I want without combat" type of gal. Course, that's not to say she can't fight - let's not forget how she handled her assistant.

MizzeeOH In reply to TheArtributor [2010-04-04 01:10:05 +0000 UTC]

Definitely. And above all, do NOT cheat on her. Hmmm.... I actually wonder what her reaction will be in ME 3 if you do a romance subplot with someone in ME 2. Oh boy, I can only imagine.

TheArtributor In reply to MizzeeOH [2010-04-04 02:02:42 +0000 UTC]

I am positive, though, that whoever you choose, there will be obstacles no matter what path you choose. It's just in the case against the Reapers it will be easier with nobody dead to be allied with you.

MizzeeOH In reply to TheArtributor [2010-04-04 16:32:01 +0000 UTC]

Oh yeah, Bioware's bound to throw something at you no matter what you do. So, random question, but out of curiosity how many of your teammates/crew died at the ending on your first ME 2 playthrough? Pretty much my entire crew died But all of my teammates lived.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheArtributor In reply to MizzeeOH [2010-04-04 17:06:22 +0000 UTC]

My first playthru half my crew died, including Kelly. I guess I didn't catch her when it really counted. And only the teammates I couldn't/didn't make loyal died- meaning Zhaeed and Miranda. The bitch died only cuz I didn't have enough paragon points (Even though they were near complete, which I don't get.) to resolve the situation b/w her and Jack, and I had sided with Jack only cuz she was the one tearing up the room.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MizzeeOH In reply to TheArtributor [2010-04-05 15:58:05 +0000 UTC]

LOL, yeah, she's the scarier one so I definitely understand that. I haven't actually done a full playthrough with Zhaeed though - I just started my first playthrough with him. You can't talk to him though! So he seems kind of.... boring.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheArtributor In reply to MizzeeOH [2010-04-05 17:59:50 +0000 UTC]

He likes his accomplishments. Not much else. I tried to make him see reason on his loyalty mission, and because of that, the bastard didn't learn nothing. Still upset there was something out there he didn't kill.

MizzeeOH In reply to TheArtributor [2010-04-06 05:52:25 +0000 UTC]

Ha, well, I suppose since my character I'm playing with now is a Renegade she'll just go with his murderous tendencies like that. This new character (Kasumi I think) you can download on Xbox Live seems pretty interesting as well. Hopefully she'll have a bit more depth than Zhaeed.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheArtributor In reply to MizzeeOH [2010-04-07 01:03:26 +0000 UTC]

Zhaeed has depth. Like how how he can jam his rifle into a still rotting corpse. Shall see. I have heard alot about Kasumi in forums, and seen vids on Utube. Sounds like an intriguing character. Be interesting to see what kinds of interactions she has with the rest of the crew.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MizzeeOH In reply to TheArtributor [2010-04-08 02:05:49 +0000 UTC]

Definitely, yeah. Unfortunately I won't be able to download it because I don't have any microsoft points to spend.

And this is a TOTALLY random question that doesn't actually have to do with Mass Effect, but I'm just curious - since you like the ME games, I'm assuming you like Bioware as well, so have you played Dragon Age? Or even Knights of the Old Republic?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheArtributor In reply to MizzeeOH [2010-04-08 03:23:27 +0000 UTC]

Heck, I even like games that use the Bioware Infinity Engine. Have you heard a little game called Planescape Torment? Got that about 10 years ago, best damn game I never finished. Haven't gotten to Dragon Age yet, been too busy with ME, and alot of my friends haven't convinced me that it was altogether different from ME, except for the time and genre. I do love the KOTOR series; I was really put off when they announced it as a MMORPG. I wanted a trilogy. Instead we get something that looks like a Clone Wars Online.
Just purchased Kasumi. I'll see how she turns out; have to recruit her at the Citadel yet.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MizzeeOH In reply to TheArtributor [2010-04-09 01:31:05 +0000 UTC]

Very nice And yeah, I agree that they should have made a Kotor 3 instead for sure. That series is so story and character driven that Revan's (and everyone elses') tale really needed closure with an epic finale. So I share your disappointment in an MMO instead.

And I'm a big fan of Dragon Age, though I haven't finished it yet. It's not as good as Mass Effect, but I think it's still very satisfying and pretty different. The combat is much more like an RPG; in fact, the whole game is more like Kotor than Mass Effect. Course, it's not for everyone, I know of some people who hated it but love everything else Bioware, but I like it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheArtributor In reply to MizzeeOH [2010-04-09 01:47:08 +0000 UTC]

Those meatbags took away my closure. It's funny how Bioware has moved the story forward 100 years or whatever from the original timeline. I wonder if they will actually tell us anything of what happened, or could have, to Revan and company.
And, just cuz I don't have DA now doesn't mean I won't ever. Maybe in the summer when I grow tired of playing SSF4. Just can't really commit to playing it right now and give it any kind of focused attention.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MizzeeOH In reply to TheArtributor [2010-04-10 18:29:37 +0000 UTC]

Well, I'd almost prefer it if they didn't touch in Revan's story alot - I don't want an underwhelming, "Oh yeah, BTW, he died while fighting the Sith!" and nothing else. I think there's actually a descendant's of Bastila and Revan in The Old Republic online comic right now, though I haven't read that so I'm not sure of the details. That's interesting, though... it kinda sucks for the players who had a female Revan, like me.

TheArtributor In reply to MizzeeOH [2010-04-10 19:25:35 +0000 UTC]

Not if Bastila was secretly an undercover Asari spy. Imagine a ME and SW crossover...Not gonna happen, but, would sure be interesting.

Fan fiction on the Net about two popular series? Never.

Although Shepard holding a katanna would have been an interesting weapon for him/her to use for Kasumi's mission.

Considering no one uses their hands, except when using biotics, it's a welcome change of pace. Actually, that might be fun. Would be funny if Shepard finished someone with a pile driver, or baseball bat.

MizzeeOH In reply to TheArtributor [2010-04-14 05:41:34 +0000 UTC]

Ha, yeah, definitely. Left 4 Dead style! *pictures Shepard busting in on the Collectors with a chainsaw* But yeah, I can actually see them making some kind of laser sword thing. Hopefully it wouldn't be too much of a copy of a lightsaber though.

They are for the Left 4 Dead games. It's too bad that they didn't transform the zombies into husks, tho.
