You mean Matt Hartley? ummm... not for me. I think Daniel Eric Gold made him a bit too flat and lacking of real passion and determination for my taste. I like strong leading-type characters. Like those you find in an adventure novel. Like the Betty of season 1 and 2 and Gio Rossi.
And you are totally right. This season's writing is in serious need of improvement.

it's so funny. But it also has a good cast of characters, well-written (usually), and good "life-lessons." Gosh, see--now it sounds cliche.
