I've been liking these tutorials for a while now, I think this was has been really helpful for me. I don't normally mess around with the brush tool but, this has helped me understand the brushes a lot better and I think I may start messing with them.Β

I often find myself fussying over making sure my lines are perfect. So because of that I usually prefer to have my sketching or mech. pencil tool.

This is extremely useful for me, I'm a little too used to use the hard round ink brush in photoshop, although everytime I try to give it some texture it ends up lloking weird to me.

Depending on your program, you can actually create them or download them from sources online.

Oh... Normally I use Clip Paint Studio Ex , but the cool brushes are in PS

Pretty sure all of these are in SAI
but yes you can usually make your own brushes in most programs
