I'm thinking of Raoul for my next cat. My mom once named a cat Dammit so she could stick her head out the door and bellow, "here dammit!"

That is really, really good. I've tried a couple black cats (in watercolor) and I haven't had one turn out.

Yeah, this is why I started my first realistic cat painting with my tuxie instead of my solid black cat. Black=hard to paint. At least I had white whiskers, etc. to bring out his features. And alas, I still don't think it looks like my cat. It looks like *a* cat, just not the one I was trying to draw. (sigh)

Thank you! This is my favorite cat angle in general, when they look up at you with cat indignation that you dare - *DARE* - to be so much taller than they are.
