He was designed to make glaDOS dumber. 8B then he was put in charge of looking after all the people in comas. Who all died. So good job there.

I could recommend seeing it - in any case, Seasons 1 to 3. (There was a fourth season, but it was never completed and ended on a cliffhanger)
(but in my case I had to download the episodes from a torrent - since I don't know if they're available on Region 2... and then I had to convert some of the files to clean up file-errors)
