Description The Youth of today (including me) are lost and forgotten, we swither and dither, we don't belive that we can change things because we have seen our parents strive for change their whole lives and they have not succeeded.
We drink and smoke and swear and have no respect for one another, because we have no respect for ourselves. We do not try to forward our lives, because soon we won't have a planet to be alive on, and we have seen there is nothing we can do about it.
We take up uneccessary University courses because we don't know what else we're supposed to do with ourselves, and we refuse to be boring things (like doctors, lawyers, teachers and tradespeople), instead choosing to follow ridiculous dreams that leaves us in the gutter with nothing unless you are one of the chosen few. We skip school and fail exams and then wonder why we can't get a job.
Due to the internet and television we think we know everything, but in fact only have a skewed view of the world as a much more exciting depressing and terrifying place than it really is- which makes us fearful and apathetic, and easily bored.
We see the Hyposcrisy of the government but we cant be arsed to get out of bed and protest, because it never worked before. We don't trust our peers, or even our superiors, we question what noone knows the answer to and ignore the simple truths of life.
We get pregnant more during teenage years and out of wedlock (because remember its OK to be pregnant at 16 if you're married, but in everyones opinion you'll be 'too young' to actually do so, even though it was the norm 50 or so years ago) than ever before, while in fact less and less of us want children, because we are lazy and we take stupid risks and we worry too much about others opinions of us. Then we get abortions for exactly the same reasons!
We have no Hope for a life after death, No faith in the people around us, or a higher being, all our choices will end in the same defeat anyway, so why bother? The Bright Young Things are fading, and we will be left with a sorry rabble of illness-prone morbidly obese Chavheretic computer-dependant morons in the next generation. Another reason for abortion there...
We have everything we need handed to us on a plate, but we claw and grab and fight each other like starving children, for things we don't need like iPods and PS3s. We are spoiled to within an inch of our lives. If I may quote Lazyboy "You know what the number one health risk in America today is? OBESITY. they say we're in the middle of an Obesity EPIDEMIC, an EPIDEMIC! Like it's polio or something, and we'll be telling our grandkids about it one day, the great Obesity epidemic of 2004...'how'd you get through it granpaw?''Oh, it was horrible Johnny, there was Cheesecake and Porkchops everywhere...'" THE WORLD IS FUCKED UP! Households in the first world throw out billions of £'s worth of food every year, because we buy too much and it goes rotten in the fridge. At the same time, People in the 3rd world die in thier millions from hunger and dirty water!
We think war is 'fun' and play at it on widescreen TVs, Ignoring the fact that our countries are murdering helpless civilians en mass all over the world, claiming to be 'protecting us'. We scoff at the news, at bombs, at ak47s and the 10-year-olds wielding them, but we can't stand the thought of wrinkles and start saving for botox at 16.
We buy tremendous amounts of crap and leave university with an uneccessary diploma and a much more uneccessary loan to pay back.
We drive up and down the same stretch of road just to show off our cars, and rev loudly so everyone knows we have a 1996 fiesta with a different coloured side panel, both of which cause uneccessary damage to the earth we can't be arsed living on any more. We look to the stars (in the towns where you can still see them) thinking of aliens with big fucking guns, instead of thinking 'hey, stars are beautiful'. We are so UN- AT PEACE!

If you have anything you would like to add about the state of the world we live in, please leave a comment. Also if I have made any spelling/grammar errors...

I am not depressed, I have too much common sense.
This is merely a statement from one quarter of my brain and does not reflect my entire veiw on life, in fact im a happy person who loves this world. Its more a stab at those of us who don't.

Also... if you can rememeber what the picture was, tell me what you think cos its a new technique I found ^_^
