DAY 18 - AMRITSARThe Golden Temple is surrounded by a pool of water called the Amrit Sarovar. Amritsar literally means "the pool of nectar". Sikh people belive that in this sacred pool is the nectar for holiness, that's why they take a bath in it.

I was a little bit afraid of India before going there: it's a mighty culture. But I enjoyed it very much anc I'm reading now all books where I can find the magic atmosphere again....

Ye, its a land of extremes. Its a nation with many different nationalities or should I say races or castes. Its one of those places, when I suppose you get a fuller flavour if your from the outside looking in. When I go India, I get taken to the ancestoral bubble of my family and only see other types of people when I go with my Grandma to see spiritual places. Next time I go, Im gonna go explore on my own abit.
