Description

The Protector is the backbone of Starfleet. It is an old Zeppelin design, which makes it really versatile and durable. This and its big brother The Aggressor are the only battleships on duty during peace times and revealed publicly. Armed moderately, the numerous missile tubes stand out, which is why The Protector is sometimes referred to as a Missile-Frigate. The tubes are the only long-range weapon delivery system for this frigate.

These ships tasks are numerous: patrolling border space, setting up and maintaining defensive systems (mine/missile fields), escorting to blatant armed conflict. Depending on its mission, it can deliver military equipment, ground troops or space fighters. It is beloved by all.
