haha, i didnt think about it but looking at it maybe because the rocks with the clouds overlaping give some depth and also the boat is more detailed so it all make the trick!ย

oh thank you for explaining, I never thought of using detail to trick the eye into believing something is smaller vs bigger - great point.ย 
And yes the over lapping clouds help for sure.ย
