I hope you went ahead and did it. Sorry for the late response, I'm not really active on here at the moment.

I love the simplicity of this
the isolation of the tree is lovely, but the negative space above it makes me want to stare at a white sheet of paper and contemplate the meaning of life
not that that's a bad thing

Before I even read the title.
My thoughts were, nice use of negative space.
What are the odds? (probably not that low)
Well, great use of negative space!

There's something paradoxily simple in the chaotic randomness of the ways trees/plants develop and you've framed it so incredibly calmly it's beautiful.

Looking again i spose it's also "my little bit of peace" kind of deal, sitting under the tree in solitude, not alone, but by yourself, you understand. Is there any one meaning you tried to capture? Or do you leave it up to the viewer? looker? what are 'we' called? the audience? im rambling.

For me personally, it was more of a sign of hope, à la last survivor, standing strong in the middle of nothingness. But I can find many different interpretations, be it peace, solitude, be it hope or despair. It's interesting which emotions something so seemingly simple can evoke.
