Ok,.. as you've read.. This character is Solid Snake.
Ok,.. took me 1.5hrs to complete.
Used Photoshop 7 and WACOM Tablet..

I love the sketch style. Very nice, almost like how Yoji Shinkawa drew Metal Gear characters. And I love the pose.

Great pic! I like the unapolagetic sketchiness. It adds to the dyamism in the piece. The whole picture is very visually engaging. ANd of a cool, cool character, no less. Brava!
My only thought is that there could have been a little more work on blending the shading without any detraction, I think. Verrrry little thing, really. The rest is great. Keep it up!

AAAAAAHHHHHH YEEEEAAAAH!...Solid Snake is one of my favorite characters of all time. He's just so gosh-darned COOL!...Sorry. Mini-Rant=over. Did a good job, and the sketchy form is pretty nifty, and suits Snake pretty well. I will have to say that he looks a bit too young, and his cheek-bones are just a tad too high. Makes him look like he was in his early twenties, when we all know that Solid Snake is...well...pretty old, actually.
