Unlike most of his creations which are entirely robotic, in the earlier years of his career, the psychotic scientist attempted to use his own cat as a test subject for one of his earlier inventions before he began using full machinery. As such he took the poor cat’s organic body and butchered it. Replacing certain limbs with mechanical replacements, when he was finished with her body the deranged scientist soon discovered that his cat had died from the operations, however that didn’t stop him from testing out his newest idea, after discovering a way to drain the life fluid out of humans he tested the procedure on his own receptionist, killing her instantly. After adjusting the tech on the cat’s lifeless body the professor injected it with the his receptionist’s life fluid, the result instantly taking him by surprise, upon absorbing the fluid the cat’s body instantly sprang to life and took on a few side effects, her fur colour instantly changed to an odd shade of purple to match her robotic half and she also gained human intelligence and speech. Overtime the scientist learned that the reason for this was because his receptionist life force has passed into the cat’s body, luckily her memory was completely wiped during the transfusion of the life fluid so she even remember her previous life. Seeing the experiment with the life fluid as a success the scientist instantly began to use the same technique with all his inventions, eventually stopping with organic creations and using it only on his signature mechanical handiworks, thus this drove him to secretly kidnapping and murdering innocent humans for his creations which ultimately led to his own arrest, execution and eventual resurrection as Professor D.R.A.I.N. After spending a week on the streets, she was eventually discovered by the Creator inkheart7.deviantart.com/galle… hiding in a cardboard box, after he took her in Clover ultimately began to grow close to the strange being and gladly became his new pet and friend.
