Description Yee I recently just got into dnd and out of 2 sessions, none of them ever lasted :C

But here is my Kenku baby. He is a Grave Cleric who will always make 10,000 IQ plays. It's either nat1 or nat20's for him, there is no inbetween his luck is go hard or go home. A true gambling baller indeed.

This is quite the interesting character you have here.^^It's really nice you took to DnD. That's a lot of fun.^^ I wonder what would happen if he ever met my Pathfinder character; Pathfinder the Kitsune Spellslinger. Yes, I know, he has the same name as the game itself. Sue me... -_-; But he's an interesting little ball of fluff when you get to know him.^^ He's very shy about his species and always hides in the illusion of a human or a full fox, like all Kitsune do.

Pathfinder: ...

Don't be rude, Pathfinder. It's not nice to stare.

Aw cmon South, of course I'm interesting, it's me!

Lol funnily enough, he also has a Kitsune as a partner in his campaign so he's quite familiar with them~ He's already dealt with stuff like magic and illusion shenanigans.

Hmm, actually I know there are a lot of different formats to the DnD structure, but how different is Pathfinder to DnD?

Well Pathfinder's not one for trickery. Unlike the majority of his species, he doesn't care for pulling pranks or magic and illusion shenanigans. He just uses his ability to hide his identity. He's very shy like that.

But you have a Kitsune in your group? That's weird, because the DnD's variant of a Kitsune is the Foxfolk. Although looking into it, there is a homebrew version for the Kitsune race. How about that?^^

As for your question, I'm not too familiar with how different the two games are. But from what I've heard, there's not a lot of difference between them. A few rule changes and formalities differ, with Pathfinder having more rules to their game than DnD. But by and large, the two are actually pretty similar, to the point where people have made adaptive rules to help cross between the two.

Don’t worry, we can be shy lords together. But if he’s not using trickery, what does he do?

Also yeah, but I think that the Kitsune my friend is using isn’t the same one from the homebrew website... Either way, there is a bunch of homebrews so it could be anything really. Like how I can be a Pokemon or a dark evil Aligator!

You never can tell when anyone's game.^^ Each DM have their own rules after all. XD

As for Pathfinder, he's a spellslinger. That means he shoots spells from a pistol or gun. Something I've grown to really like.^^ Anyway, Pathfinder is the third eldest son of about 6 children. His mother is a Kitsune, and his father was a gunslinger.(he dead) While most Kitsune practice spells and magic, as well as magical illusions, Pathfinder was a bit of an oddball, gravitating more towards technology made by humans and dwarves rather than reading books and scrolls and casting spells. Not that he doesn't like spells, quite the contrary. He just has a hard time wrapping his head round how to work them the same way everyone else does.

His mother showed Pathfinder his father's old pistols, and he became inspired to figure out a way to combine technology with magic. Thus, he practically invented Spellslinging, an extremely rare and unheard of technique of casting spells by shooting them out of a gun. When he finally came of age, Pathfinder left him home to explore the world and find new and interesting ways to combine magic with technology. Though... the outside world is none to kind to Kitsunes, so Pathfinder is forced to keep himself hidden under the illusion of a human or a natural fox. (I personally go with the fox. It's more adorable, and he doesn't have to speak as much.^w^ No one could ever think a little ball of fluff is a Kitsune. X3)

And thus we have Pathfinder's whole backstory.^^
