Description

Ey! I'm too stressed out to make commissions lately, probably I'll be a week more that way. Christsmas, New Year and spanish favourite, day of the three Magician Kings (January 7th), with all of the reunions it comes with. I've made this little something in a couple of spare moments, though!

Used two free base meshes that then I fused together and modified to get my proportions and topology the way I like them. Also worked on a system that allows me to use textures for each face part and animate them however I want.

If you have keen eyes you'll know what I inteded to use this model type for!

This reminds me of Portal Knights.
It looks really cute! Your graphics are so smooth! I'm trying to learn blender but I have such a hard time @__@;
I find Sculptris 1000x easier, but I really need to learn blender to do game design D:

This is so good!
I hope I can advance to this someday ^^

Oh, but sculptris and blender are two different kind of tools.
People tend to find sculpting programs easier, but those are better for fine detail than game-ready models. Anyway you'll end up using both if you're into game design, at some point.

It's literally a screenshot of blender. It says blender on the window. ΒΊ_ΒΊ

I have a Megama vibe with those eyes. But the body is kinda shaped like a chibi. Possibly doing a chibi series of 3d characers?

Just experimenting right now. We'll see what comes out of this!

Ooo, this really reminds me of My Sims! The models are similar, and the faces on My Sims look like that as well ;w;

Oh, I see what you did there! Never played, but in my search for tricks to achieve this effect I stumbled in a forum in which someone used that game as an example of what he wanted to achieve, too.
One difference though is that I can animate each part of the face separately, but in the little video I saw of that game they only could change their whole face (and that's what the forum guy was trying to do).

Yeah, you can't particularly choose the expression either in game. The character's resting face is flat, and only changes when events occur. (Like a giant fish falling on them and crushing them. Pretty weird game.)
But I like how the model is turning out! It's very smooth, and the fact that you can animate each part separately is amazing!

That's pretty common in games, actually. Specially in games that have limed ressources, like a handheld game.
I'm attempting to use this on animation, rather than games, though, so I don't have such constraints!

Thanks! I'm trying to not be stuck in a small box, and everytime I take a detour from my usual style, I learn a lot of things.
