For most of my poses, I tend to think of something in my head first!
When trying to draw it, the next thing I do is draw a line of motion (for this, you see how she's in a rough circle?), and move from there!
If I can't think of anything else, I look up some reference images on google of things like lions or horses!Β

For the glowy ones, it was a 'paper' texture, and the smaller scales were a texture called "dotskingen", both from a texture pack I downloaded :3
I can't remember exactly which one it was, but I know it was one of the ones in this favorites folder:Β
