Description The snow crunched underfoot as the Professora walked through the empty street.  She hugged herself against the biting cold and considered her mission.  She smiled with anticipation.

Molly's art notes:  This is a Second Life screen capture that was taken into Photoshop for a bit of a tweak.  The Professora is a steampunk character I created in Poser and would love to recreate in Second Life.  This depiction is one possible look for her there.  The sim where I made the picture is New Babbage which is one of several Steampunk flavored sims in Second Life.  Unfortunately, my favorite, the Forgotten City, closed and is no more.  Still...

Stop by Ruby's Pub in the canal district (Babbage Canals) sometime and take a look around!
(and don't forget to check out the ratty old houseboat out back and the nearby docks.)
I've got lots of art and things around there, and loads of freebies.

steampunk is oddly erotic to me...love the Victorian machine age/industrialization setting...Zeppelins, Captain Nemo, odd looking deadly weapons, corsets, bustiers, veils, goggles, funky hats of all types, boots, heels...anarchy themes...yes quite enough and them add a Professsora character...
PS: I'm going to rewrite my Monica and Frog opening to have Professor Margaret (aka Molly) Hoffman a quite devious character...

Exactly!  One day I'll do a more complete story but I have to say I'm looking forward to yours in the meantime!

This looks almost Dickensian Mollz, I like it very much

Yes, the Steampunk era is Victorian or at the latest Edwardian and is very in tune with Dickens and a bit later.  That particular sim, New Babbage, is really pretty in a strangely industrial way.

Industrial, yes I like that description. Not you of course, you are anything but industrial
