Description
Under the careful supervision Professor Cecil Kroftmann, Dolly removed the body of his current experiment from the revivifying table. Lucy's silent body was carefully placed on the table and the table was elevated into the field of two metallic projectors. The Professor began adjusting the output of titanic dynamos that connected his laboratory to the otherworldly forces of the elder ones.

A coruscating energy field enveloped the silent body on the elevated table. "Ooh! This is so exciting!" Bubbled the Professor's tiny assistant. "Indeed," murmured the Professor. "We are tampering with forces I marginally understand. A mistake could blow this laboratory and all within it to atoms."

"Is it working?" Dolly asked. "We'll soon know," the Professor replied. "The energy field is reviving her body. She will live. Her body will call out to the essence, the soul if you will, that the slender folk have stolen." He paused and considered. "She will be revived. She may be a nearly empty vessel, though, if the slender folk's hold on her essence is too strong."

"Is this how I was born, Professor?" Dolly wondered. The Professor smiled indulgently. "It was not unlike this, yes."

"Then she will be my sister in our family!" the doll-like creature enthused.

Molly's art notes: The picture was generated in Poser 12.0.387 using the Superfly rendering engine and tweaked in Photoshop. Yuicy is based on a low rez mesh by Ali called Angela that may not be available these days. The Professor is based on Michael 4; the character I am using was created by Henrika. Dolly is based on the Ayana Doll by Glidman and is no longer available although his "Noname Doll" is quite similar.
