G's are Japanese measurements, and since Japanese only do 1 rib measurement or something, their bras measure completely differently. I read it on a forum cuz I wanted to understand the Japanese cup sizes for my research in a fic and blah blah blah, and it still confuses me just a little bit.
So I can't say G cups are an equivalent to so-and-so American letter cup, but after researching around in 'Boobapedia' (yes I did), I realized that cup sizes obviously vary on a person's body type/proportion.
I've seen big G cups and small G cups amongst the actresses and models.
So long story short,
If your sister's D's are bigger than that model's G's, it's probably because the model is petite in comparison.

Americans think DD is the biggest I guess, but I've seen E-cup bras. Those are the biggest in American sizes I think though, never seen bigger. But Japanese have cup sizes all the way to P-cup, thanks to certain AV models of theirs. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
