I feel sorry for Smithers. Mr Burns is the only person he wants but it's very unlikely that it'll actuallyΒ happen,Β as much as he wishes it would.
And on top of that he gets treated like crap by Mr Burns.

No, it's a scene from a fanfic and they were at a charity event and found this moment where they both were alone on the balcony and after many chapters leading up to this, Burns kissed him. It's been so long since I wrote that chapter that I almost forgot what scene it was referencing. It does look like a wedding though. XD

Awwwwww! How sweet that Mr. Burns prefers Smithers in glasses! I proudly wear glasses too and would never even think of wearing contacts. ^__^

I cheated a little on the flowers because they were made using the stamp tool in a program called Manga Studio, which is an awesome program for only $25. (costs a tiny bit more for an upgrade to pro version) I do all of my drawing with it! The brick texture was made in Adobe photoshop using a few texture filters and playing around with the colors a bit.
I think Burn's looks his best in a white suit and he certainly seems more confident when dressed to the nines! And Smithers just isn't the same without his glasses.

I usually get ideas for pictures to draw from my fanfics, but even though I don't have any Bob/Cecil fics I've actually gotten a few ideas that I want to scetch featuring those two.

Yeah, and often they get a lot of the facts wrong about women too. A little research never hurt. For me, yaoi is more fun to write because guys seem so complicated and act so closed off from thier emotions. Most anyways.
I do hope to write at least one yuri fanfic one day. Xena/Gabrielle are my favorite. I was practically in love with Xena when I was little!
Yeah, they are both cute to me, even Burns with his bony old self. XD His funny dialog is what makes him such a lovable character.
