Is the face piece something based off a samurai's kabuto?

Yeah, I can see that influence as well; just seems like I've seen some samurai pieces that use that exclusive armor piece that covers the eye region; almost like a partial mask or a robeer's mask turned into armor. Anyways it has a cool look, regardless.

Another awesome character design. I love the detailed work on his equipment, the way his firebombs are assembled and all those little things that add personality, like the rugs and Β΄dangerΒ΄ text.
