After what I've read about the differences between three of the totalitarian forces during WW2, (Mussolinni in Italy, Hitler in Germany, and Stalin in Russia), during my free time in Social Studies, I think I'd prefer living under his Communist rule than the the Reich of Hitler. Although, (and I'm serious about this), I'd represent the genetics that, allegedly, Hitler claimed to be the best of all. Blonde hair and blue eyes. Although, WW2 and WW1 are the main reasons why I despise the final 3rd of my heritage being German. The primary is English and the 2nd is Irish.

A war is no good reason to hate your lineage. I don't hate being american because we enslaved millions of Africans. I love being german, I love being Native American, I love being slavic, etc.
Chances are, you aren't descended from a Nazi party member. People were drafted into both world wars and had no choice to not join, not every russian was a communist(most russians hated communism) and certainly not every german was a fascist.
And looking at your profile your a guy? How old are you by the way, if you are older than me then you should know a LOT more about history than I do, and not be posting naive comments like these.

Hitler used a funny thing called propaganda and actually bringing Germany back to a country that had a stable economy.(Forgive me if I'm wrong, your the German.)
And to my understanding Communism took away the right to practice religion, which is important to a LOT of people, and they shut down all the schools. There were spies everywhere and nobody could be trusted. Hell, they even tried training german POWs to be soviet spies back in East Germany. I'm not sure anybody would enjoy being oppressed as much as they were.

And stable economy? He just put everyone who could hold a weapon in the army. Or let them produce more weapons. So yes. Germany had far less unemployed people thanks to him. Unemployed people we had cause of the treaty of versailles.
So even if you want to say, that he repaired the economy, that is hardly an excuse for being responsible for the death of 60 000 000 people.

I never read much about him except for the fact that, during WW2, he commanded his men to stay in and defend Stalingrad. If he hadn't told them to do that, the Russians might have entirely lost to the Nazi scum.

Gulag? Yes, my friends, it existed in that time. But...do you know who was held in gulag? People, who were a "Chikatilo" clones of the past. The image is very good, and by the way Stalin never ruined the Soviet Union, he did the opposite. He's the only one of Soviet leaders who actually managed to strengthen his country. Also, he's one of three world leaders (and No.1 among them) who united to crush the fascism.
