Lol my cat is ok, he can be annoying but very lovable. But these days, if he doesn't have anyone else to sleep with, he'll sleep with me. But normally at night he won't sleep, because he's been sleeping during the day, so then he'd want to play or just love on me...but I'm trying to sleep!! DX Lol, but normally he doesn't...only twice because one night my parents went to this ball and my sisters went over a friend's house to sleep at and I stayed home alone (I'm 15 ..so meh), and then the next day my sister's slept over a friends house again and my mom had work during the night ...so it was me and my dad, dad had his door closed so Neko (my cat) slept with me. >> I went with two nights in a row with barely any sleep! ><;

Actually, Neko is still rather young. He's just...loyal. X3 Neko can be playful and bite us or scratch us...but that's only because we're playing.

^_^ Cute! Makes sense, then. Why can't my cat be loyal? If a stranger barged into our house to murder or steal stuff, Bethany wouldn't do anything except sleep, eat or run outside for the night. SAVE ME FROM THE EBIL GUY, BETHANY DX!
... You're lucky to have a cat like that. We would have a dog, but one: My little brother has a phobia of dogs (even the smallest weiner dog). And two: I have a grandmother who is allergic to them. Oh, and three: We have NO IDEA how to care for dogs XD. Mom's been around cats longer than dogs, so she loves them more. Yeah...
But she allowed me to have a hamster once. Black Bear hammy named Jewel. She was adorable, more loyal than our cat XD. Sadly, she died on an early Sunday morning the week before I started Junior High. (Had her for two years, so it was meant to happen.) The strange thing is, that night she woke me up by rustling around loudly. I only talked to her for a few minutes then went to bed with a "Good night, Jewel". The next morning, I woke up to find her dead on the bottom of the cage. What makes it even MORE strange was that I had drawn a picture of an angel the previous night and hung it above my desk. (I wasn't a good drawer then, but I can't take it down because of that night.)
Couldn't sleep right for a few nights after that because I could still hear echoes of the rustling and an occasional vibrate of the wheel with the "bang" and all that. (She used to crawl on top of the wheel and ride forward to land on the bottom with a "thunk" whenever she had food or not. And she climbed on the wires of the cage to get up to her food bowl.) I sometimes hear a slight rustle nowadays though the cage is up in my parents' closet, but I don't cry myself to sleep anymore.
Whoops, went off topic XD. Sorry 'bout that.

Lol I don't know what Neko would do if someone came to hurt us or something. Who knows....anyway about the hamster thing, we had some too. Although after are like...fourth one died we decided to stop getting them and stick with cats. We did have one cat before Neko, but she didn't last long. =/ She had this rare virus with no cure for it so eventually she died. >> This happened some time last year too. But Neko is much more loyal than Amber though. Anyways back to the hamhams X3 ...I remember the first one I got we got when it was a bit too old, it died. Like it would sleep in this tub, and it was sleeping for a long time till my parents finally realised he was dead. So then we got two brother hamsters after that, one always ran away and eventually never returned and the other we kept till we had to move to Germany. Then we got Einstein, he lived the normal length like all hamsters do...but we had to put him to sleep because he was sickly. Same thing with Digger (our last hamster) D: Digdig was the best of them all. He was so cute!! X3 But he also got sick and we had to put him down. D: Anyway....that's cool. X3 I guess you and your hamster shared something really special to get hauntings from it. We've never gotten hauntings from our pets, yet, even though Amber is buried in our backyard. XD Lol I wonder if we're going to have to dig her back out when we move back to America....where we live it's owned by the Germans and the Americans (army)...so yeah. >>;

My dad had hamsters that ran away too. But I didn't think you'd put hammies to sleep, gasp!
Well, I guess Jewel and I did have something special, but I'm not sure. I mean, she never bit me, and I almost always fed her by hand (when I wanted to be with her) and when I first got around to holding her, she never attacked me. (After all, when we first got her, there were two other hamsters there. One of them looked pregnant and the other attacked the gloved hand XD while Jewel scurried away from the hand XDD. But what made me see her and fall in love with her was the way she pressed her little face against the glass as though telling us "Take me home! I can't stand it here anymore!")
But they weren't hauntings, they were just echoes. I don't see spirits, though my mom does. Well, at the corner of her eye she sort of does. When her cat died when she was a teenager, she'd see him. (My grandmother also sees spirits too, so she saw Webster, my mother's cat.) And after Ashley was put to sleep, when we moved into our grandparents' for a while, she saw him around.
Dig out your cat when you move? Eee, that sounds weird. After all, we buried Ashley in our old backyard, yet we didn't dig him out when we moved. (My dad said a prayer so that no one would disturb his grave, after all. Same with my hamster. And she's out in the backyard right now.) But it does make sense, since it is someone else's land. And not many people get hauntings or visits from their deceased pets. I haven't been visited by Jewel in dreams about how hammy heaven was like or whatever. I just heard echoes, that's it. And that's most likely the closest thing I'll get to having visits.
So yeah, just be glad you don't get hauntings. You might have a hard time sleeping every now and then. But one day I bet, when Neko passes away, you might actually get a visit from him every now and then. But he's young right now, so don't expect it to happen until you're married and moved out. Uh, how'd we get into the topic of dead pets again XD?

Lol well hearing noises count as hauntings....seeing things moving, seeing a spirit, sudden chills in a room, hearing noises....all count as hauntings. Anyway no I don't think we'll dig up Amber's grave. X3 But I have a feeling one day someone will stumble across it...like a kid. It's like- "Hey, cool a box! *opens it* Aaaaaah!!" XD they see a skeleton, with probably still some rotting flesh, of a cat. God that's hilarious just imagining it. XD But yeah, you guys are lucky you get hauntings...I've kinda always wanted to experience it...at least just once. XP But with Neko's hyperness at night, I can't get sleep so ...meh. >>;

Lolz, that is freakin' hilarious XD! I imagined the kid to be, like, Pudin' on Billy and Mandy, though I should've imagined someone else XP.
I still don't consider it hauntings if it is. The echoes are just random, they come every now and then. And my mother doesn't get freaked out seeing a strange movement on the corner of her eye, and she wouldn't call them hauntings either, just visits. But I'll accept either. I doubt having dreams about a deceased pet or relative is a haunting, but it could be. (I got freaked out from a dream because for some reason I had angered Ashley since I disturbed tomatoes in our backyard. But later on I found it just plain weird 0_o.)
If you want to experience a haunting, be prepared. My cousin sees spirits and got freaked out by one because he looked evil and was creeping her out. (She wasn't prepared to see one.) And my friend saw three spirits (a man and two boys) wander around and has mistaken one as her little brother. (She got scared, too.)
But otherwise, it's normal if you don't experience them. Not everyone sees spirits (I don't. I don't think I deserve to see spirits unlike my grandmother and mother. I haven't earned it, after all.) and are happy about it. So, to experience a haunting is really, really low. But hey, you could get lucky one day.

Yeah, I agree. And wasn't there a movie called Haunting? I don't know, I don't watch many scary movies. (Last one I watched was The Sixth Sense, only I cried at the end xP. I'm a wimp, crying during a scary movie at the end.) I haven't found or heard about books that deal with spirits, but they sound interesting. But then my mother would go into a debate about ghosts and all that.
They were just pet deaths, right? None of your relatives/friends/neighbors die? The only death I've been around was just Jewel (though at my school that was an elementary and middle school a seven-year-old died from luekemia, but I only saw her around from time to time).

Visits and hauntings are pretty much the same thing, but haunting sounds more....scary. XD I read a lot of books about ghosts...so yeah. >> But yeah...I guess experiencing ghosts normally has to connect with something else in your life. I have been around deaths, but nothing big. >>;

Yup. Actually, it was exactly one week ago (on the 6th of January) that I had suggested Gatomon dressed as Wizardmon. During that time, you were actually asking for things to draw, wanting to know what ideas we had.

By the way things sound, my friend, it seems as though kindness is the best motivation that you have for creation. That's something that I really like to notice about others.
